Will the string shrink over time?
We pre-shrink our lines by soaking and drying them before marking, which minimizes any shrinkage over time. We still recommend that you avoid getting the lines wet when you can to keep them as accurate as possible.

What is the best way to secure the lines?
We have found that Gorilla tape works the best to keep the lines from moving, but duct tape and painter’s tape are also popular and effective choices.

Do the lines pose a tripping hazard?
The lines lay completely flat on the court and are only a few millimeters in width. If a foot were to drag across the line, it would give with the force or the tape would come up.

How long does it take to set up?

What happens when the ball hits the line?
It is rare that the ball hits the line because the string is so thin that the ball almost always lands completely in or completely out. For reference, when we play for an hour and a half, it might hit the line in a way that affects the rebound one time (and sometimes not even at all). In these situations, we simply redo the point.
